Utena got wrapped up in the battle for the Rose Bride and won Anthy as a bride. Utena fought many people even losing and gaining back Anthy's courtship at a later date. During her time in Ohtori Academy she would become close to Anthy's brother and even spent the night with him. She would later discover that he was her Prince and had to do battle against him. That was when a bright light consumed her and she found herself in a different world.
