Being inspired by the man they call "Batman" Barbara decided to create her own persona with that gimmick. She made a suit of spandex and a cowl and created the Batgirl costume. Creating some gadgets to use for weapons and going about at night in Isafaro to fight the Vulture troops and anyone who threatens the innocent citizens of Isafaro.
