"This is incredible! I haven't seen anything like this! It's so much bigger on the inside!"
Mary looked around at the control room and then at the Librarian, who didn't seem happy to see her in here, but who cares? She was in a real live alien space ship that doubled as a time machine. She went up to the control panels that the woman was circling around.
"Is this how you travel through time? What does this button do?"

"Don't touch ANYTHING!"
The Librarian yelled as she got between the controls and Mary. Making sure that Mary didn't touch any of the buttons and mess up her TARDIS even further than it was already damaged thanks to those god awful bloody Daleks.
"I'm sure this must be all very fascinating to you, but I don't have time to answer your questions. Please leave so I can repair my ship and be on my way."

"I'm not going to break anything! Do you think I can just turn away from all of this? Let me help you. What all do you need repaired?"
Mary wanted to help. She wanted to learn more about time travel, and Gallifrey, and this Time Lady. As grumpy and rude as she was she was also fascinating and Mary had never met an alien before, so she wanted to know everything she could about this one.

The offer for assistance in repairing the TARDIS was laughable at best. What did a human know about Gallfrey technology in order to help someone as advanced as the Librarian. It was enough to make her chuckle.
"You? A human? Help me? Please! You couldn't possibly understand the complex mechanics of a Gallfrey type forty TARDIS. Now please step aside."

"I am getting tired of your snobby attitude, lady! What makes you think you and your kind are so much better than humans, huh? All I see are a couple of nuts and bolts."
Mary went over to the control panel and started pressing random buttons, turning random knobs, and pulling random levers all just to spite the Time Traveling bitch.
