She grew up in a mansion with rich parents and was dotted on most of her childhood until her mother passing causing her father to become obsessed over finding the key to the dead.
Lara grew up and became an archeologist. Looking to restore her father good name and image. She got ship wreck on an island and found a tomb that was believed to be a woman who could bring about the plague. She was reunited with her father and took care of the tomb defeating the people who wanted to use it as a weapon. She then returned home to take care of the Croft Estate and go on more tomb raids when suddenly she was transported to a different world with a very different feel.
