He grew up a prodigy child and impressed his mother very much, but his father was always critical of his success. Once he was hired onto Luthor Corp he slowly grew through the ranks until he became equal partner to his father and finally took over the business and renamed it "LexCorp."
After the appearance of Superman in Isafaro and Supergirl in Moon Valley, Lex declared war on the Super family citing that aliens had no business in Jenesis affairs. As well as the otherworlders who came here from the tower. Working directly with the likes of the Isafaro government and Oscorp, Lex goes on to use his money and resources on his war against Superman and all those who oppose the Isafaro military such as the Resistance.
