A group of vampires attacked and killed her parents. They would've killed her too, but she managed to escape and sob and her sobs would be answered by the least likely of creatures.
The Seven Deadly Sins would reveal themselves to Wanda and make a deal with her. In exchange for their power she would later give them her soul. She accepted and received the power of manipulating people's sins. She ceased being Wanda and became the warrior known as Sincara now hunting down the vampire clan who slaughtered her family by any means necessary.
