History: Garrus Vakarian was born and raised on the planet of Palaven and was trained to be a part of the world's military at a young age. However, he chose to follow in his father's footsteps and joined C-Sec. But he quickly grew tired of all the red tape surrounding the job and went his own way in life. While he was orbiting the planet Jenesis an unknown alien vessel shot him down and he crash landed in Isafaro.
He was then found by the Isafaro Resistance who took him in and told him about the world he was now stranded on. They offered to repair his ship in exchange for assistance in combating the Isafaro's military dictatorship. Having a sense for justice, Garrus had no problem dealing with the corruption of Isafaro and now works alongside Kragen to combat that military dictatorship.
