Meeting at the DEO (Invites Only)

[Tori Jacobs]

Tori had received a message from DEO's Director, Alex Danvers, to meet her at the DEO HQ in Moon Valley ASAP. Apparently both the Mayor of Moon Valley and his assistant was going to be there to brief them on a new crisis taking place in the forest region of Moon Valley. Tori met up with Supergirl and the two arrived together.

When Alex took wind of them, Tori only smiled as she looked over to Supergirl and then back at Alex smiling.

"Do I have something in my teeth?" asked Alex.

"Not at all, but we have something to tell you. Kara..."

Tori held up Kara's ring hand as she would allow Kara to break the news to her sister.

[Kara Zor-El]

Kara put on one of her biggest and happiest smiles yet and once her lover Tori held up her ring hand to show the shining diamond engagement ring that Tori had bought for her she loudly proclaimed:

"We're getting married!"

Alex's own eyes lit up and she went over to the two with a surprise look and smile on her face.

"Oh my god, Kara, Tori, I'm so happy for you. Congratulations!"

Kara stepped away from Tori and showed her sister the ring up close as the two looked it over.

"Oh, Tori, you must really love my sister."

"I know right?"

The two continued to look at the ring until...

[Sarah]

"Ahem!"

Sarah cleared her throat to get the rest of the DEO agents' attention as she and Val Templar came into the room. Sarah looked around semi impressed at the proceedings going around her and it looked like the Girl of Steel was finally tying the knot. How interesting.

"Are we interrupting something?"

[Val Templar]

Val Templar was dressed in his typical black business suit as he looked around at the people around them. Alex Danvers, Supergirl, and Tori Jacobs. The latter of which seemed to be getting married. Val wondered who would wear the pants in that relationship, but it was no concern of his. His concern was the briefing he was coming here to give.

"Is this everyone?"

[Tori Jacobs]

Alex and Tori snapped out of it and went back to their station. Alex got the attention of the other DEO agents as they gathered around to hear what the Mayor had to say. Tori was among them looking at both Sarah and Val as for some reason they gave her bad vibes, but they were the real bosses of the DEO so she put on a smiling face regardless of how she felt about them.

[Kara Zor-El]

Supergirl's face turned red at the appearance of Sarah and the Mayor. She quickly lowered her ring hand and went in line with the others as she waited for the Mayor to speak and tell them what the situation was. As always Supergirl was ready for any occasion or mission that came their way. You had to be in this line of business.

[Sarah]

"There has been an increased in paranormal activity in the forest region of Moon Valley. We have reason to believe a necromancer have arrived in the forest and is raising the dead from the graves in Moon Valley to create an army. We do not yet know how strong this necromancer is and how powerful these undead soldiers are. Mister Mayor?"

[Val Templar]

"We have reason to believe the necromancer is planning an all out assault on Moon Valley. We want to cut off his reserves before he gets a chance to attack the city. Your primary objective is to investigate the forest region and locate the necromancer and then bring him into custody. Kill any undead soldiers that stand in your way. Are there any questions?"

[Tori Jacobs]

"How many undead has the necromancer raised?" asked Alex. Tori was always impressed by her ability to read the room as that was the question on all of their minds. Depending on the undead they could be slow and brain dead, or fast and brain dead, or even have intelligence. It all depended on how the undead was created.

"Also, what kind of undead are they?"

[Kara Zor-El]

"Have we gauged the strength of the necromancer? Are they capable of performing other spells? As you know I'm weak against magic."

Supergirl needed to know what she was she walking in on. The zombies wouldn't be too much trouble for her and she could make it easier on the DEO agents that came with her. But it was the necromancer that held the true threat of the situation. Especially if they had more magical powers than just raising the dead.

[Sarah]

"The necromancer has no other magical abilities except the ability to raise the dead. Take him out and the zombies should fall. There are at least fifty known undead soldiers lurking in the forest under the command of the necromancer, but they're the slow and dumb kind so they shouldn't be a problem for you guys."

[Val Templar]

"Furthermore, it seems the necromancer is controlling these undead soldiers with some type of magical artifact, so it's not even his own power raising the dead. Remove the artifact from him and he should lose control of his henchmen. Your orders are simple. Search and destroy."

[Tori Jacobs]

"Alright, men, you heard the Mayor. Head for the Moon Valley forest region and remove the threat. Captain Jacobs, you'll be leading the squad into the forest. Supergirl will accompany you for additional support. Now move!"

Tori nodded her head and went over to the weapons to grab her firearms and look over her team before glancing over at Kara and giving her a wink.

"See you on the battlefield, love."

[Kara Zor-El]

Supergirl heard all she needed to hear and was ready for action. When they parted ways she began to walk for the exit of the DEO's HQ. When Tori winked and spoke Kara smiled, but that smile was soon replaced with a serious expression. Now wasn't the time to play around. It was time to eliminate a dangerous threat to Moon Valley and keep the village safe.

No matter what.

[Sarah]

Sarah watched as the group departed and she turned her attention back on the Mayor.

"Do you think they can handle it?"

It was a pretty big operation and it seems all Tori could think about was humping the leg of the Girl of Steel like a sick little puppy dog.
