Lady Miracle turned around and looked up at General Solomon. He was so much taller than she was, but wasn't that the way it was meant to be? For the men to be taller than the women. Oh well, that wasn't important.
"As it is always a pleasure to see you do the Lord's work."
When Jehanne came over it reminded Miracle what they needed Solomon for in the first place.
"Oh yes. The Elders have advised me and Lady Jehanne to accompany you to the tower to help you investigate and find out its secrets. When were you planning to leave?"

General Solomon only shook his head.
"I do not agree with the Elders' decision, Lady Miracle. The Crystal Expanse is a dangerous place to wander and not a place for a child even as capable as you are. I would advise letting me and the paladins go alone."

"But it's the Elders' will, and I'm more than capable of protecting Lady Miracle in a crisis. Don't think less of us just because we're younger than you."
Jehanne took great offense at Solomon's statement. No place for a child? They weren't children anymore. At least not in God's eyes. They were grown adults and servants of the Lord. Just as capable as any other paladin.

"Calm yourself, Lady Jehanne. Do not let the sun set on your anger."
Miracle then looked back up at Solomon.
"It is not just the Elders' will, but the Lord's will that we accompany you on your journey to the tower."
And Miracle knew he couldn't argue against the Lord's will.

"I mean no disrespect of course, Lady Jeheanne. You have proven yourself time and time again among Aircano elite. My concern lies solely with the High Priestess."
Then she mentioned the Lord's will and Solomon backed off. It was not for them to contest the Lord's will. If God wanted them on this journey then so be it.
"Very well. We leave soon. Meet us at the gates in a couple of hours."

Jehanne fell quiet for now and watched as Miracle convinced Solomon to take them along. No one could contest Lord Yahweh's will and that wasn't about to change now. It looked like they were going to the Crystal Expanse. It would be Jehanne first time at such a location. She was both excited and nervous.

"We will meet you at the gates in the time you have said. This is your show, General. What you say goes. May the Lord protect us."
Miracle was calm about going to the Crystal Expanse. She had faith in Lord Yahweh's protection. She had faith in her bodyguard Lady Jehanne, and most of all she had faith in her General, Solomon. With the three of them leading the paladins she had faith they would find out all they needed to know about the tower and if it truly was a threat.
