Bane figured that Iron Man was trying to lead Legion into some sort of a trap. It'd be a hard feat to fool a telepath unless Iron Man can close off his thoughts to her somehow. It would take great discipline to do something like that however. Bane was mildly entertained by the battle and was curious to see how would come out the victor.

Iron Man was no fool. He knew his mind was being probed by the devil child. That's what he was counting on. Showing Legion exactly what he wanted her to see. A trap. But the trap in his mind involved her following him. The real trap he had in mind involved her standing perfectly still. Right where she was.
For Iron Man had grabbed something from the fallen soldier while fleeing from Legion. A null grenade. A technology that rendered even super powerful demons helpless on the field. Iron Man pulled the pin and then dropped the grenade by Legion's feet. As it went off and created an energy field that nullified Legion's powers. He then dropped a net on top of her to trap her and take her back to Stark Tower.

Legion paid no mind to the grenade. She thought her powers would simply cause it to be another dud, but that wasn't the case this time. It was a null grenade and it concealed her abilities in a heartbeat. Legion tried to run, but the net fell on top of her and she was trapped. At the mercy of the Iron Man.

Bane was disappointed at how easy it was for Iron Man to subdued Legion after all that show of strength and power from the devil child. Surely if she wanted to she could evade a little net. Bane couldn't help but feel that something more was going on here. That she wanted to be caught. But for now there was nothing to prove it. Bane continued to watch the rest of the capture unfold just to see if there wasn't just a little bit of light left in Legion's eyes.

If Legion was planning a trap of some kind, Stark would be ready for it. As he landed by the net that now had Legion trapped underneath it he attached it to a rope and carried it as he flew away with the net being connected to his suit so it wouldn't fall or tear open. He would take her to Stark Tower and learn more about what made her tick.

Legion remained quiet and subdued. Did she have a plan? Did any of them truly have a plan? That fact would remain to be seen. Legion remained underneath the confines of the net as Iron Man took off to the skies. Legion looked down at the city skyline in silent amazement as she waited for the next move to be made.
